Greenbank Patterns are specialist pattern makers for many industries, specialising in the production of castings, pre production models and concrete moulds. We are a family business based in Kirkby in Ashfield Nottinghamshire and have been established since 1978.

Greenbank Patterns have a large workshop enabling our team to produce any size of pattern tailored to your individual requirements, with lifting equipment such as a forklift and an over head crane to aid movement.

Castings

Greenbank Patterns produce castings primarily for the engineering industry from ferrous and non ferrous metals, supplying castings for various companies. Over the years we have supplied over 2000 castings to these customers. For your casting requirements please contact us with any of your queries.

Pattern Making

Industrial pattern making is an exacting and highly craft intensive process. Our highly skilled pattern makers have years of experience and we can deliver patterns for casting of the highest quality. Our industrial patterns are constructed using top quality woods such as birch plywood, yellow pine, mahogany and polyurethane, resin/paste laminates. Working in conjunction with foundries, Greenbank Patterns provide customers with high quality, cost-effective solutions.

Model Making and Prototypes

Greenbank Patterns also has comprehensive experience in the precision manufacture of wooden pre-production models for proving product function and fit. Models/Tools can be manufactured from wood, resin, model board or aluminium depending on the type of moulding method to be used and the tool life required. Aluminium tools can be temperature controlled for critical parts.

Reconstituted Concrete Moulds

Built from softwood and internally lined with high quality birch plywood, our moulds stand up to the pressures that will be exerted upon them.

We are currently working with a exciting/innovate new customer “Babycotpod” who are in the process of designing a revolutionary alternative to the traditional cot.
